2020 No-Go Bristol Fall Classic Raffle Fundraiser

[Bristol Borough, PA, October 6, 2020]… The Academic Oversight Committee (AOC) is hosting the first-ever No-Go Bristol Fall Classic Raffle fundraiser because its two annual fundraisers — Jazz on the River and the Bristol Fall Classic — were canceled due to COVID-19.

Three cash prizes will be awarded on December 8, 2020 consisting of a third prize of $1,000, second prize of $2,000, and grand prize of $5,000.   Tickets are $75.00 per ticket and can be conveniently purchased by visiting the AOC website at www.BBLearningCenters.com.

This No-Go Raffle benefits Bristol Borough’s public and parochial schools providing funding for many educational requirements including a growing need for Wireless Hot Spots to provide additional access points in homes to ensure students are connected to their classrooms and teachers. Examples of other programs funded by the AOC include the virtual Writers’ Voice Workshop and Microsoft Certification Program plus continuous academic remediation now also being delivered virtually.

Tickets will be available for purchase through Sunday, December 6, 2020.  A raffle license number was issued to the AOC to conduct this event by the Bucks County’s Treasurer’s Office.  The raffle license number and permit for the No-Go Bristol Fall Classic Raffle can be viewed by visiting the AOC website.

The AOC’s mission is to lead and serve the Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania educational community to enable each individual to grow into an inspired, productive, fulfilled lifelong learner. Our goals to realize this mission include the following:

  • Maintain awareness to residents and supporters of free, year-round programs aimed at the Bristol Borough School District exceeding state curricula standards and promoting the academic success and growth and development achievable to Borough youth attending public and parochial schools through program participation;
  • Raise funds for programs not provided by grants and supplement grant-funded programs as needed; and
