AOC Grants
AOC Grant Funding
The mission of the Academic Oversight Committee (AOC) is to serve and support the Bristol Borough educational community to enable each individual to grow into an inspired, productive, fulfilled lifelong learner. In conjunction with Bristol Borough's 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants, the AOC supports year-round programs for youth in grades K through 12th attending Bristol Borough public and parochial schools.
Since 2015, the AOC has funded or augmented after-school and summer camp programming and expenditures not covered by the federal community learning center grants. Teachers and program coordinators at Bristol Borough’s three Learning Centers -- Snyder-Girotti Elementary School, Bristol Middle School/ High School, and St. Mark Parochial School -- are encouraged to submit their own proposals to complement classroom instruction, stimulate students’ curiosity, and enhance critical learning skills in innovative, challenging, and fun ways.
AOC funding is available on a rolling basis. Grant proposal applications are mandatory for award consideration and allocation. For additional information, contact the AOC at info@bblearningcenters.com or the 21st CCLC Program Director at your school.
